Ok once again I don't know what went wrong. I got my starter kits and this is my 1st go at it. The DVD said to use warm blush for the blushing on cheeks stork bite ect I saw on DVD her paint looked blood red, mine did not looked rust brownish and that's how it stayed even adding thinner so I put it on any way thinking maybe baking will improve it.It almost like the color was mixed wrong. What color do you use or works best for the blushing stoke bites ect. Thanks
Hi, can you post some pictures? I'm sure it will be easier to suggest how to improve your doll if we can see it :)
Anyway, I'm usually using a very thinned premixed warm blush or blush/nail/lips from BB. I do a few layers (bake the doll between layers), and slowly build up the paint. Less is often better!
Ok thanks. I will try to post some pic. I painted it again with flesh color and it help a lot then used the lip color over that so he is a bit red but better then looking like his face was smashed in his dirty diaper lol
Oh my! That makes a very visual picture in my mind :O
For color correction, you would use a color wheel. You can do a search on that topic in forum to see what you get. Lots of people in your situation. I don't know if you're using Secrist products or someone elses. It does make a difference hun. But we can probably help you to get your baby to where you want it to be without too much fuss. :D
Post your pics in the artist showcase under the same title you have for this one (if you haven't already) and we'll take a look!
