Using Moist Glaze Medium
Permalink

Hi

I have tried applying moist glaze medium to the eyes, lips, nose & inner ear.  When applied it looks right but once dried it dissappears clompletely,  I have tried doing extra layers but haven't baked them.  Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Good thing you didn't bake the extra layers yet. Don't bake them as you might end up with chalkies (search forum). With the glazing gel/moist glaze medium, it is actually more of a "satin" finish, not shiny. If you want shiny, you can use the Alene's paper glaze (AKA: baby tears). It will give you shiny.
You can use detergent dish soap to wash off the meduim or use your low odor thinner. Then rinse.

Welcome fursandfrills!

Yes, it's a satin finish so as you move the head you get a slight glazed effect, not a wet one, just a hint of sheen.
