well i just have one question for you .. just some advice for a newbie Ok.. do you think a doll that is suposed to be 10 inches long can be bigger if i picked a different body?
It can be slightly bigger, as long as you distribute the weight correctly. Also with the body, do you need a full front and and a full back or are they half and half, you can attach them by drilling a small hole in the body parts, if they are being painted still you can poke a wooden meat scewer through on your last baking and it will make a perfect hole when cool. ( leave in untill it is cooled) You could you ribbon the same colour as the body, as it won't cut the vinyl. Stitch through hole and tie, tuck under the body plate, ( I would put a bit of glue in to hold it.) Hope this is some help. Had a great day, thank you. XXXXX June.

Karmen, June has explained that body fix really well as she also does porcelain dolls (as do I). Only thing you have to do for a larger body is to make sure it's proportional with the head and limbs of your kit. IMHO, I think going with a body for a 16" doll might be a little bit more than what you need, but you will have to judge that yourself. If YOU like it then it will be ok. What matters is if YOU think you like it with that size body. And like I said, it should match the head and limbs without making them look too small. Hope this helps hun :)
