Jo sonja's is mostly used for folk art, not reborning, IF you want a good good you use GHSP, this is from someone who has tried 3 different types of paints, to get the real newborn/reborn baby look i stronley suggest you purchase GHSP, even if you only start with premixed and build up your supply's as yopu can afford them. I use the GHS paints myself and just love them. I used the ADP in the beginning but I find I have more time to work on my painting with GHS. It's more forgiving of mistakes and bakes right into the vinyl.

I have used the JoSonja paints on several of my reborns. They absorb into the vinyl and take several days to cure. I thought they were a type of oil but I think maybe they are in between somewhere. They do make a very nice "peaches-n-cream" complexion for older babies though.

I do prefer the Genesis (any type of polymer heat-set) paints though. They give you "do overs" if you need them and are very forgiving.

I have ADP's from DD and have not used them as of yet. Those dry super fast. Most of us in the reborning world no longer use acrylic paints because of the bruising issue (search "bruising" in the forum). Nor do most of us use inks (June is a convert!). :)

I think that Secrist has a sale or some lower price on the GHSP's including the larger jars (but don't quote me hehehe). I think the dealers got an e-mail some time back on it and don't know how long it was going to be for.
