Since AWRAF isn't affiliated with any one company, we're a little more laid back. And that might be a good thing for newcomers, who don't understand all the acronyms we use here.

Just expanding the family, so to speak!

Pat is right. However... I don't see anything wrong with keeping the information in your signature. Everything who runs a business puts a link to their website in the signature.

I think if you leave it in your signature some people will venture out and click on the links in your signature.... but they are like playrooms while some have rules that should be followed and I think to stay safe not to get in trouble.

I like both forums and they are neat and both have great information a wealth of it while the other has some sub topics to choose from.

I just think people will travel to where ever they feel comfortable being at.... Not to say the benfits of getting support and opinions... I just guess I will always come back to secrist with any major issues or information I might need or to just get a simple answer. And for me secrist has lot of people on the forum so you don't have to wait to long usually before you get answers!!! I just am being simple minded and not taking sides...

I think it is all in good fun, Secrist is our Mother, that's how I feel. I love the people here and the ones that are in both rooms of the house. WE will always come home to Mother. LOL XXXXX June

Yep, Tina is right. The difference between forums is that this is primarily a forum sponsored by Secrist to teach the art and promote the use of Secrist products.

How do people juggle being an active participant in a lot of forums while still taking care of all life's other daily responsibilities, including creating reborns? Wish I knew. I'm glad there are people who belong to more forums because the knowledge learned on the other forums can benefit us.

And you know that pretty much every forum has it's own rules and how to's and such. We're no different. We know you're not here to cause any issues hun. But Linda and I especially since we're mods, have to go by the rules too.

I belong to one forum that you have to pay to be in but you get all kinds of perks. But their very strict rule is that nothing from that forum can see the outside world or there are consiquences! So at least we're not like that.

But ya, go ahead and keep it in your siggy and people can click on it or not. People have the right to belong to whatever forums or as many as they want, no problem. Its like using DD or BB or the like for competitors doll kits sites, and as such, other forums can seem like competitors even if they aren't really. Just someones point of view. Like Linda said, we're here because Secrist formed this venue and we are here to help with questions about Secrist kits, products, techniques, etc. But we do unofficially answer questions about other stuff too. So it's all good right? :)
