A good rule of thumb is about 3 times what you put into it. Say for instance your input was $50 (including kit, clothes, etc....not sure how to figure in the paints, brushes, hair, etc, since those are reusable items and not consumable, don't forget to include what you paid to have kit shipped) and TRIPLE that amount. In the case of $50, your sell price would be AT LEAST $150 as a base. Then I would also charge shipping costs.
I usually do 2.5 to 3 times what I has invested as a price not including shipping to the new mommies. But I don't balloon the shipping cost like I've seen some do I charge actual shipping and insurance.
I also charge actual shipping costs. Don't forget to include your mohair investment in the doll's estimated worth. Unfortunately, I can't count rooting time or no one would be able to afford the doll. ;-0

When I sold my 6" reborn. My price included: my kit, an outfit that was seperately boughten, mohair, and shipping, which it was my first time so I don't think i got what I made "profit" because I had to use some of it for shipping. So in the long run I decided to up my price alittle.

To start I feel if I make a $100+ on each baby I'm OK with that..until I get better at this art-form and recognized as an established nursery...then I can make more profit
