Nice thing is that with the pre-mixed sets you can do many, many dolls! And like I said... no thinner to add. Be sure to mix all the heat set paints till smooth and creamy, they go farther!

That's a good tip. Is that why my paints seemed to get real glossy in the jars when I used them? I didn't stir them, cos the video didn't say to.

Could be! They do go farther if you stir till creamy. Some people don't stir them but I got that right from Genesis themselves. And I'm all for stretching my product (and my money)! :)

Next time I use them, I'll try stirring to see if that makes a difference.

I think the pre-mixed paints that Secrist sells are nice to use, and very economical. A little paint goes a long way. I don't know anything about the other paint products, and I would hate to recommend something that I haven't tested.
