hi everyone, yet another newbie for you, just getting to know you all. I live in the UK and although i have numourous hobbies including sugarcraft, watercolour to name a few I recently over the last few years since the loss of my mam have lost interest in them all. but for a while now i have been obsessed with the thought of a reborn, i have just ordered a reborn baby as an xmas prezzie from my dad and brother. This then got me thinking that maybe i can do this and after searching the net for days now reading and watching any demo out there i stumbled on this forum i am in process of reading every topic here. I have just ordered a secrists preemie #2 kit and awaiting its arrival though i must say even though excited i am really worried that i will spoil her but i am determined to do this as it is the only thing that has stirred my love of crafting for a long time and i think with all the help you give here i will do it :) sorry for the rambling but just wanted you to get to know me a little as i feel i already know most of you through spending days on this forum so hi again all and nice to meet you
Dear Letty, I'm so glad you found us. If this art is sparking your interest to the point of spurring you on to research the topic, well... it seems like the dolls will be good for you. I know you will do a wonderful job on your doll because you've researched the art prior to jumping in.
You will be so glad if you read the topics in the forum because many of the answers to the common questions are located here. When you have additional questions, just ask. Welcome, Letty!

Welcome Letty! I'm so glad you found this forum! There is so much great information here! And all the people here are wonderful. I think you'll find reborning to be very inspirational. It opened up a whole new world for me (which I have found very addicting), and I hope it does the same for you. I, too, started out with the #2. I fell in love with this scuplt, and the process was explained in such great detail that I can't image you could ruin this doll! I now have 2 of the Zoe sculpt. Just couldn't resist - she's so beautiful! Don't hesitate to ask questions. There is a tremendous amount of expertise on this forum! Hugs, Melinda
Hi Letty and welcome to our forum! So glad you found us and we all welcome you with open arms. Isn't the log of questions and answers great?! And you can access it 24/7 so no worries that you won't get an answer when you need it :)
Sorry about your loss hun, and it is quite normal to lose interest in activities that you just love. I'm hoping that you will find some comfort in making the babies and that it will be a good thing to jump start you again. Do please let us know how you are getting on with the kit once you get it. Someone is usually always here. Don't worry about ruining the kit, we get do-overs with Genesis and AR paints! If the color isn't quite right or you get chalkies... it's in the forum and you're not alone hun :)
Hello Letty and welcome to the forum, and welcome to the best addiction a woman can have, good luck with your first baby, just like with anything the more you do it the better you will become.
Hi Letty welcome to the forum I too am new and from the UK south West actually and a similar thing happened to me, I lost my mum and lost interest in most of my hobbies until I found this new one. I am just starting my first kit. Good luck to you and welcome Hugs; Cathy
