I ordered a petite jar of flesh 08 not realizing that there are different types of paints.  (I'm new to reborning.)   The jar does not say Gentle Touch or Authentic Reborn.  It just says Secrist Doll Company Flesh 08. 

Am I correct to assume that this is the original Genesis paint that requires thinner? 

I'm afraid to use it until I know--I've heard about the dreaded chalkies!

Yes with the petite pots they are the original GHSP, is it premixed, if so you use it with about five or six drops of ouderless thinners on the makeup sponge and use a paddle pop stick to spead a small amount on the sponge, then ponce it on. In the DVD they say to use 07 and 08 and to keep poncing and turning the sponge to get a good coverage. You shouldn't have any problem if it is thinly layered. XXXX June.

Yes, I do believe it is. I'm sure if it was the Gentle Touch or ARP it should say on the container. If in doubt, just try it a few ways on a test limb and then bake. :)
