Sorry if this has already been asked..

Has anyone tried rooting their dolls eyebrows?

If so, how did you do is and what were the results?

Do you still do it, why yes or why no?

I'm just a little hesitant to paint on eyebrows, as it's very difficult to get a true "real baby" effect that way.

Any suggestions/opinions/experiences?

Some people root their eyebrows, but as with painting, it takes time and patience.
Once you learn how to hold your babies head and this is explained in the painting DVD, it won't take long to master. XXXXX June

I do root some of my babies eyebrows but most I don't. To get a good looking realistic painted eyebrow, be sure to use the thick medium and follow the directions in some of the threads in forum (yes it has been posted several times) :)

I don't root most of them because of the brow-bone placement and having to heat the vinyl to get a better angle/insertion of the hairs. Also you should have REALLY good to excellent mohair, and it depends on how straight and where you catch the hair to insert it.

There are also several threads on painting eyebrows :)

Cool, thanks for that. I've got some cheap practice dolls, so I might have a bit of a play around :)

I usually suggest doing that instead of practicing on the bub itself. And if you use an arm or leg it really gives you a good laugh to see it hairy!! hahahaha
