I have found a felting needle that can be used with 1-6 needles. Is it ok to use more that one needle? in order to make the process quicker???, or just use one. here is a picture of the needle so that you will get a good idea.
Hello- I also purchased a rooting needle that holds 4 needles when I first started out thinking along the same lines you are as far as "quick rooting". I did try it but found that I couldn't control where I wanted my hairs to be placed and at the proper angle. I use a regular old mushroom handled rooting tool and found this to be the best for me. Given some time a practice you'll find you get faster, it will become almost second nature like crocheting or needle point. As far as your human hair vs. mohair question. I have heard some reborn artist do use human hair however I understand it's a bit harder. You may find your answer in better detail if you search through the forum . I prefer a good quality mohair myself and have never tried human hair. Hope this helps
As Tina stated... you get less control with more than one at a time. It might work fine if you were rooting your hair in a straight downward motion but since you are putting them at an angle and going close to the head it doesn't work very well. Yes, just practice will make you better. And see a dvd on it if you haven't already. :)
