heat set or air dry
Permalink

I am real new to the reborning....I purchased the 6" starter kit with the heat set paints.  Then I decided to purchase a set of paints.  Not knowing there are heat set and air dry.  Seeing I started to learn on the heat set I think I will stick with it.  Any other opinions on the pros and cons of one set of paints to the other.

Stick with the heat set, they give a much nicer natural look. XXXX June.

I agree. I love the fact that the Genesis will not migrate and cause brusing and it cures right away with an oven.
I would never use acrylics on the bubs as it might not come off now but what will it do down the road a bit? Don't want to find out!
I do have some other waterbased stuff but I'm hesitant to try it as I had "heard" that it came off after a while. It was supposed to "sink into" the doll parts :o
