IMGP0026.jpgIve just finished my second reborn play baby for a 12 year old using nothing but watercolour pencils. Its a lots of love berenger so the style of doll isnt very life like but thats the one she picked out so.... i have also purchased some GHSP and cant wait to give them a go but i know you have to bake them between layers can anyone tell me what temp you have them on and for how long they bake for in a basic oven (not fan forced) for a secrist doll.
bellow is the picture of the first one i did all watercolour and the newest one as well. let me know what you think.

Hi Rachael,
Genesis is baked at 130deg celsius or from memory i think that equates to 265 deg farenhiet
the external layers get baked for 8 mins if after 8 mins (and after letting them cool for a while) you can take a wet (water) Q tip and lightly circle it over the paint and none comes off onto the Q tip then the paint is cured if paint does come onto the Q tip then it needs to go back in for about 2 mins at a time till no paint comes off,
for the internal wash it is baked for a minimum of 10mins using the same checking method as above,
hope this helps and sorry for any letters missing in my post, my 2yr old spilt fanta on my lappy keyboard last night and its making the keys very hard to use.

I think the coloring on your babies looks good, but I was wondering how you keep it from coming off?

it just doesnt come off. after about 24 hours the colour absorbs somewhat into the vinyl and i see it every weekend and it still looks great! the only thing i have noticed is that it has faded a little.
