How to size them up?

When sculpting a baby in parts I noticed that I have difficulties to estimate the size of the limbs!confused and I think it is a bit toweirdfaceo much work to do a full scale baby and then shop the arms and legs off! hohahahhahahah....

I have seen on youtube an such that some of you keep a sheet with a drawing or "map" at your workarea to help you size them up! But I cannot seem to find anything about this subject anywhere!
everything is about the heads! I have seen miniature limbs being sculpted but nothing on full size or 1/2 size

I don't know of anything other than regular sculpting books. They always have charts or basic information on how to scale the sculpts. I would suggest the library in the sculpting section. I have many books on it like: sculpting a likeness in clay; how to sculpt a baby; you know, just regular sculpting books. You can choose any medium you want.
Other than that...
