Hello everyone. I am new to reborning and have been reading and studying photos for the past month and now have decided to take the plunge. I ordered my first kit and supplies yesterday and in the mean time I have been cleaning up an old dirty Berenger baby to practice on. I've been told that this forum is a great place, with friendly people who will help when "Newbies" like me have problems.
I've ordered a "Teagan" 16" by Denise Pratt. She has sleep eyes and the most lovely shaped new born hands. I know when she gets here I shall just sit and look at her for a few days, trying to pluck up the courage to start on her. I guess thats the normal reaction hehe.
Hi Phaedrax! I'm kind of new here, too and I love it. So many nice people who are always willing to give you help and suggestions are here. Glad you made the plunge and ordered you a baby to do. This is a very addicting hobby. I have finished 5 in a little over a month. I fall in love with each one of them and wonder how I am ever gonna sell them. Glad to meet you. Janie from Tx.
Hello Phaedrax, Welcome to the forum, have you been lurking behind the sceens for awhile, Yes as they say this forum is awesom, you will learn all you need to know, all you have to do is post a topic and we are all ther to help where we can.June M from Oz.
Thank you for the welcome ladies. I go to pick up my kit this morning so pretty excited here. I have ordered a spare limb so perhaps I won't stare at the head for too many days before I put paint to plastic ( heh, well Vinyl but it didn't have the same ring to it ) You can read all the books, look at DVDs and stare at photos of other's work but nothing is going to take the place of hands on experience.
