painting my luca, HELP!!!

If you hadn't already painted on the flesh tones, I would have adviced a colour wash of a yellow-green colour BEFORE you started. It is a good idea to have a colour wheel - Secrist sell one, or you can find one at:

Because you've already started, I'm not sure - if you use the advised thin layers of paint, you could probably turn the colour gradually to a more lifelike colour by adding in some yellow green, adn them go into a pinky flesh tone, then the blush.

The Luca kit is a sort-of purple tone when compared alongside the Secrist kits.

without seeing a picture its hard to say what to do but to get a more pinky complexion do two thin layers of felsh04 follow by your normal skin tone layers flesh08, 07 etc it shouldnt matter that youve already got layers just go over them with the flesh04 its a very strong colour and will nutralize what you have. hope this helps (((hugs)))

I know what you mean about the colour, I did Hannah as jack, he is my avaitor baby, he was greyish, but I use Inks and he turned out fine, but I suppose when I try Genesis shortly ,I,ll be asking for help also. weirdface

thanks everyone, i think i have applied to much flesh 08... which isnt helping i might try 07 ... and more pink this time as i dont have yellow, green or flesh 04... how do i get these colours ??? i'll try without them but might have to end up buying them !!!!!

unless you have the 5 basic genesis colours its hard to mix other colours like green and dark flesh etc try your layer of 07 and your blush and see how you go, if you have raw seinna it will give off a yellowy tone if you apply it thinned very thin all over your vinyll bits you may not need to do that though its just somthing ive found that makes a lovely skin tone :) .thankyou for your lovely comments about little Faith (((hugs)))

GUESS WHAT EVERYONE, I WAS HAVING SUCH A BAD TANTRUM WITH MY LUCA AND I WAS GOING TO QUIT REBORNING.............. FOREVER !!!! I WAS SOOOOO FRUSTRATED ..... BUT............
I didn't quit and I was determined and from everyone's advice I DECIDED TO TAKE ACTION...... so i did a layer of pastel mint green, a thicker layer of 07, than a thicker layer of 07 + pink.... AND.......................

IT WORKED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I AM SOOOOOO OVER THE MOON, THANKS FOR ALL THE ADVICE LADIES !!!!!!!!!!!!
I COULDNT HAVE DONE THIS WITHOUT YOU, I ONLY HAVE A FEW TOUCHES to finish my luca's face and she looks like a darling already !!!!!!!!!!!

I am so proud of my baby in progress and myself for not quitting !!!!!!!!!!!!

I'M EXCITED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (this is an understatement lolol)

We are lucky, we have no birth defects like the young man I saw on tele tonight, no arms and only a little limb for a leg, it hasn,t stoped him from doing anything.
