Taffy was my first kit baby... Taffy's features really wernt for me, but we're all attracted to different looks. My fave of the secrist preemies right now are Zoe, Missy and Lollipop. _________________ collectable kids is the cheapest for secrist kits here in aust as she is their official aust distrubutor. I'm horrified when i see other aussie site's selling secrist preemies from $60-$90 that just seems so wrong to me... but Alison from collectable kids, prices are much more honest when it comes to the secrist kits.
I order my secrist product direct from the US though, b/c for me being on the west coast of Australia, i pay just as much postage to get my kits from the US as i do to get them from the eastern states here... and my international orders have often beat my internal ones in their arrival time (5days international Vs 7 days here in australia for equal postage cost), which is rediculous really. Buffington is a secrist supplier who accepts paypal or you can order from the main secrist site here but they don't offer paypal.
Most kits are exceptionally cheeper to import yourself than thay are to buy here in Aust. To be fair though Alison at collectable kids secrist kits are pretty equally priced to the US. ___________________
Thanks for that. I actually went through looking at kits and I remembered that I actually really like Paddy.. more so than Taffy. I looked at Taffy some more and decided not for me.. but there is something about paddy I like!
And I have to say, I am excited to see that Collectable Dolls are going to be at the doll fair.. whoo hoo... going to be busy this weekend! :D
I,v been looking on the ausie suppiers today and I think when I can afford to order, it will be from Secrists. They either don,t have them in stock, or they are more costly . So I think even with postage we,d be better off. Taffy, Paddy, Zoe, Missy, Gumdrop and Lollipop are all lovely to do for beginner. Go with your heart. June M from Oz
