Is anyone going to the Doll and Teddy Bear Expo in Washington DC?

I am hoping to be able to go.  We will be on vacation near there during that time, so hopefully we can stop by on our way home.  It is Aug. 8th-10th I believe, and it looks like a lot of fun.  Can't wait!smile

Wish I could. The Sturgis South Dakota motorcycle rally will be going on that week (we usually leave first Fri of Aug) but I can't even go to that. So hope someone will take piccies!!!

I just got back yesterday from my vacation and the show. It was a great week, the beach was great, lots of sun! The show was very cool, lots of great dolls and bears to see. I felt a little funny about taking pictures so I did not take any :( Maybe next time.

The only thing, I wish there were more hobby supplies available. There were some kits, and a few DVD's, I just wish there were more, since it would have been a great opportunity for me to see things in person before buying. Overall though, a very worthwhile experience.
