Baby hair...

After I root my first reborn I have this question in my mind: It is normal that the hair of the baby fall out after it was glued? I mean not in big amounts but some hairs just fall? I know I have to comb the hair in order to eliminate the hair that may have been loose but after I did that some hairs still falling out... I´m a little bit conserned because I don´t what hairless baby in a few weeks, so I really don´t know if that is normal.
Also I don´t know if a put the right amount of glue, I think I did´t ok but I really don´t know. How many glue do you use ? Just enough to see a white inside head when is not dry yet?
I´m using the Secrist mohair, not the best quality one but the cheaper. Can this affect the fact that the hair brakes a little?
OMG... so many questions! please help me whit this... I´m so worry! blankstare

Susan,  Yes sweetie, it is quite normal for a few hairs to fall out even after it is glued.  It sometimes takes a couple of brushings to get all the loose hairs out.  It is not that they were rooted wrong or anything, just that we always miss a few in the process and it may take a few combings to get all the stray ones out...
Your fine... stop worrying! Bravo

Susan, like shakeyhandsme said, yes it is normal,  I,ve been using a tooth brush after my babies hair glue has dried. It,s a bit firmer than a baby brush and if there any loose hairs , this should remove them, I also use V05 styling gel Wet look, it has a firm hold and when dry still looks wet. But if you deside not to have the wet look it will comb or brush out.weirdfaceJuine M from Oz.

I always use a toothbrush to brush my babies heads too! I brush during rooting, shaping, gluing then a vigorous brushing before styling. If you brush and trim as you go along you will find that you have a lot less shedding at the end.

So you say V-05 styling gel for the wet look, then comb it when it's dry if you want to get the dry look versus the wet...ok, but do you put it on wet hair and let it air dy or do you put it on the dry hair and then style?
Also any other styling products used, other than conditioner sprays? Thanks.

I think she was saying put it on wet, then let dry, then comb out when dry. IMHO.
I use a protein conditioner on mine. I go to the black hair care product section. They have some good stuff. I also get ICE clear gel. It will hold a do without being stiff. Gives ya the wet look without being wet. Doesn't leave residue that you can get with some gels and stuff. Try to get stuff without alcohol in it as it dries the hairs out.

Styling products on the baby's hair??confuse  How do the adoptive parents like it? any feedback on it?  I was so careful to root my baby's hair (the one I've just finished) but her hair doesn't look as good as I'd hoped. Will styling products help?

I'll post pics of it in the artist showcase WIP..........

I'm not sure what the adoptive parents think, guess I didn't think to tell them lol
It's just a different kind of conditioner, and the ICE holds nicely firm but still feels soft.
Styling products are only as good as the hair you use hun. I'm not sure if it will work or not. Did you use good quality hair? Although I do have 1 baby that has so-so quality hair and it's frizzy but he's a boy, and my friend keeps telling me boys have messy hair hahaha
