I ordered 3 anatomic torso's from them with the full legs(a seriously low close-out price) on them..they are from an artist Carol K and originally cost $79.95 each..you know the kind that go up to just below the chest(where the cloth body would show)and all the rest below is soft vinyl..I hope I actually get them...then I will buy 3 more kits to go with them.

I wanted Cathy R's anatomic torso kits,but she keep goofing me around by changing the shipping date over and over and are really nice and were only $49.95 each with arms and legs

Yes they are having a nice sale and the next sale coming is going to be even better she said...a doozy

I wish I had more funds available for this next sale,if these torso kits arrive soon that I ordered.

I bought three kits and got one free. I would have liked a couple of those torso's too.

DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT order from RDK. They are not honest at all. There is absolutely no guarantee that you will ever get your kits. Please, do yourself a favor and order from anywhere other than RDK.

 The woman who owns RDK is such a fraud!!!! I found a site where she has burned alot of ppl who are reborners.. for many years. She took advantage of many ppl and I was one of them I am not sure what to do..

 I want to cry   and I don't have no clue what to do now... I am praying I didn't lose my money that I earned cause where I live I work hard for it. 

  I will be a ninja and she will write me back or else!!!! She will get tired of me sending her email... Worried alot now. I was excited but not any more!!!

There is an interenet fraud website you can go to report any sites that are dishonest I'm not sure if they can get your money back but you can report the incident. =(

So the chances of me getting the 3 torso kits I order is 50-50???

$62 total is not much....but that was my kit budget for this month....

I payed for them with no problem I haven't gotten my order in the mail yet. I am hoping she is a good christian woman who wouldn't be a fraud. But I will keep you posted on if I get mind or not....

Yea my budget is like about 80.00 and I spent like 62.50.... So I bugged her twice last night and she told me that ppl are jealous of her and that she is closing her business because she feels its time to move on but doesn't want to leave the reborn industeries all together.. She still wants to sell some reborn kits. Because ppl are being dishonest and "hogging" the industry and the reborn's that are like limited editions and ect.

I felt she was being honest but at the same time it was like she wanted to tell me what she thought I wanted to hear.. if that makes sense?

I told her that I was a christian and I came right out and asked if she is a fraud... she told me that she fell ill and had to reimburse customers with cash or merchandise... and that's how paypal fell into the mix.... I guess they suspended her account for six months and this is how the nasty "humors" got started. I don't know who to believe But I did ask her though to check my status on my order as I was taken advantage of before... So she was like I was taken advantage of by business ppl and by whatever she said.... In all of what she wrote I just feel like she was tallking me a line of crap ( can I say crap?) to make me feel better. But I told my b/f and mom that if I don't recieve my order in a couple days, I might just give her extra time and by the date I feel I should have recieved them comes up she will hear from me every day until she sends me my order.... she also says she is back logged with lots of orders and that she is sending them as she recieves them so if 5 ppl ordered before me then I would have to wait until she sends those... How stupid if you ask me.... But What do I know I am only 24 years old!!!! so yea....

Well she did not say how long since there was lot of orders which backed logged her/them... The normal she says is 3-5 days cause she sends them either UPS or USPS... so I will be waiting.... She did reply to my first and second email.. and I had my mom and b/f read it they both say she sounds sincer(? spelling bad)lol and that she seems to be honest through what they read. My b/f is one of them ppl who can tell by how you type/write and the wording as well... so lets keep our fingers crossed... lol

I definitly will let you all know how I make out!!!! I am still hoping lol and I am trying not to Obeiss on the fact that I don't know her and ect.... lol

Maybe RDK changed the vinyl mix so it can take paints cured in the oven.  That would be wonderful.  Good luck with all of this.  I hope y'all don't have problems and get your merchandise so you can enjoy and feel good about the sale.

I know I can be impatiance sometimes but I really hope this isn't the case that she is that behind... Maybe she shouldn't have had a sale until the people who bought from her got theres.

About a year or 2 ago, there were lots of issues with RDK. Mostly them not shipping when they said they did, minimal or no communication, LOTS of disgruntled buyers. There were those few that were satisfied but about 95% not.
I had heard that most of that was cleared up, just a few were having issues. That jealous part and all that other bull is just that... bull. After hearing from the people that were having issues with RDK, I believe that she just has "issues" herself (IMHO) and she doesn't admit that the issues are on her end. I have avoided buying from them ever since.
I don't mean to bash a company but the evidence was overwhelming!

As far as her kits being non-toxic now, they would have had to drastically changed their vinyl mixture and also not had their kits made in China. And unless she is personally involved in the making of the kits, she, like any other doll seller (except Secrist/AV, and DD) would have to know the forumula and the where. I totally trust DD because their kits are made in Germany where rules are extremely strict. And Secrist says on their website that their doll kits made in the USA are non-toxic. Anyone else that says that are just guessing because they are the sellers not the manufacturers. (I believe we have discussed this at length in another topic thread, use search).

So I hope everyone gets their orders ok. Keep us posted. :)

A friend of mine on another forum ordered from her a few days ago. She went to check on the status and is said on order or in process or something like that. money was taken from the bank account she used, So she emails Cindy asking when she may expect to receive her order well she emailed back that she(cindy) cancelled the order and if she want to she(myfriend) can reorder. Well there has not been any refund to her bank account or notification of a cancellation through an email? I mean wouldn't there be some kind of notification indicating a refund? My friend would have never known anything if she didn't happen to email RDK. I mean any time I've cancelled something or it has been canceled that I ordered online I received some kind of email as proof.

It's been 12 days since I placed my order with her...my bank guarantees my money..she will have to try to fool the federal police...I'l wait another 3-5 days,if I don't get a tracking number I'm having my payment to her acccount revoked..and have her investigated on a federal violation

Okay I was just on RDK right.. and on the home page she has a photo of orders she explains that the orders on left were already shipped out. and the ones on the RIGHT have been shipped out On MONDAY JULY 19, 2010... and you should receive them anytime!

So she worded it really funny but I figured out what she meant!!!..... all of us who ordered from her let's keep our fingers crossed..

I am staying positive and I will let you know when I do get my kits.

mine say as well on order.... I am starting to not go and look and track my order since it says it and there is no change.. I am hoping I was in the stack to be shipped on monday 19,2010.. we will see

Are they the half torso's? 

 

The vinyl would come up to just below the chest..so yes I guess they are the half torsos

Looks like my torso's were most likely sold to another...here is what she wrote the email today:

Steve:

This order was put on my desk as we ran out of the torsos early on and needs to be refunded. If you would like to apply it towards another order instead, just place the order and mark it as payment by check or money order. Your total amount was $62.97.

I apologize for not having them, but we may be reordering and I will give them to you at this discount.

Please let me know what you would like to do.
